Successful workshop: automation days at DMG MORI

In cooperation with ALTRATEC, DMG MORI Berlin Hamburg GmbH organized a workshop on automation for machine tools on 27 and 28 August 2018.

45 participants attended the one-day event in the halls of DMG MORI in Stollberg and took the opportunity to inform themselves about various automation solutions and their practical implementation.

The focus of the ALTRATEC presentation was on individual concepts for the supply and removal of workpieces by means of transport systems. In addition to a plate chain conveyor with various options for workpiece carrying, we presented an ALTRATEC over/under conveyor, which can be either clock-driven or accumulating.

Organizer DMG MORI presented an intelligent pallet handling as well as various state-of-the-art solutions for workpiece handling on turning and milling machines. In addition, DMG MORI CAD/CAM software was introduced and the requirements for a successful automation were explained.
